For patients under the age of 16, ear cosmetic surgery is often covered by the Medical Services Plan (MSP) in most cases.

Typically, otoplasty ear surgery takes approximately 60 minutes.
Following ear pinning surgery, patients must wear a headband bandage for one week. After removal, a sports-style headband is required for an additional six weeks to support healing.
If the procedure is not covered by MSP, the private cost of otoplasty is typically $3,000.
